## What it is

AI Spend Calculator is a dashboard concept for making AI subscription and service costs visible in one place. It tracks spend across services, categories, and time so tool costs are easier to inspect.

The underlying problem is simple: AI spend can become invisible quickly as tools, subscriptions, and API usage spread across accounts.

## What it shows

The calculator turns a vague sense of subscription creep into a pattern you can inspect by month, category, and service.

## Current status

Building. The prototype shows the core dashboard model: monthly spend, category breakdowns, service comparisons, and trends over time.
