CTRL for Android

What it is

CTRL is a native Android app for turning a current situation into a useful draft, explanation, worked example or short exercise. The aim is to make it easier to get started and keep the useful result.

What it does

Describe what is happening, review the prepared response and make short corrections. Keep outputs and a small amount of context you choose. The alpha can run Gemma on the device after downloading the model, with optional Venice cloud access for testers.

A separate local preview tests preparing and correcting a work update with Koog and Gemma, plus one work preference that can be explicitly remembered, edited or forgotten. Its drafts are temporary and it has no cloud route.

Current status

A development alpha. Local generation has been checked on an Android emulator; physical-phone performance and usefulness still need testing. Cloud requests are an explicit option, with no silent fallback from local processing. There is no confirmed public store release.
